by admin477351

Indonesia’s fuel prices are among the most competitive in Southeast Asia, according to data from the country’s state-owned energy company. The nation offers the region’s cheapest RON 92 gasoline, known locally as Pertamax, priced at approximately Rp15,950 ($0.89) per litre. This rate is significantly lower compared to those in Singapore, the Philippines, and Thailand.

In addition to RON 92, Indonesia’s RON 95 gasoline is also competitively priced at around Rp19,150 ($1.07) per litre. This positions Indonesia as offering lower prices than Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Singapore, where costs are notably higher.

Indonesia also leads in offering the lowest aviation fuel prices in the region, at about Rp20,190 ($1.13) per litre. Vietnam follows with a slightly higher rate, while Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia see considerably higher prices.

In terms of diesel, Indonesia ranks as the third-cheapest in Southeast Asia, with prices around Rp25,200 ($1.41) per litre. Only Vietnam and Malaysia offer diesel at more affordable rates.

These price comparisons underscore Indonesia’s relatively low fuel costs across major categories in the region, highlighting its competitive edge in the Southeast Asian energy market.
